La Barrosa/Sancti Petri Beaches

Only ten minutes away by foot from our apartments, you can find the multi-awarded La Barrosa Beach.

Several kilometers of thin white sand to enjoy one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world.

From La Barrosa you can also make out Sancti Petri Island with its famous castle.

The beach is escorted by a beautiful promenade where you can find plenty of restaurants, ice-cream parlours, cafés and gardens.

La Barrosa/Sancti Petri Beaches

Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park

Nature lovers can enjoy of more than 10.000 hectares which form the Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park.

Marshes, estuaries, ponds, pine forests, salt mines and canals shape an incredible landscape placed between five different towns, Chiclana amongst them.

The Park has several hiking routes to behold one of its main attractions: the presence of dozens of species of migratory birds.

Province of Cádiz

Cádiz province offers to its visitors many spots of interest where be delighted.

Cádiz, the capital, is the oldest city of the Western World. The Cathedral, the Falla Theatre or La Caleta Beach are some of the attractions you can find here.

Jerez is the biggest city of the province and has a very interesting wine and equestrian culture. The city also hosts the Moto GP Spanish Gran Prix, which every year gathers thousands of bikers. 

The Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos (White Towns Route) is a great option for rural tourism. It’s placed in the Sierra de Cádiz and comprehends 19 municipalities with its characteristic whiteness, from Arcos de la Frontera to Setenil de las Bodegas.

Of course, besides la Barrosa, the province owns miles and miles of spectacular beaches such as Bolonia, El Palmar or the ones in Zahara de los Atunes. You can also enjoy Sanlúcar’s beaches with their famous horse races.

Another possibility: Tarifa, Europe’s most southern point. You can watch African coast from its beaches. This town is worldwide known for being the Kitesurf paradise along with other surf categories.

Gibraltar doesn’t belong to Cádiz, but is located in it. In this British colony you can visit The Rock of Gibraltar, walk the caves and watch the wild native monkeys.
